A while back, we revisited a childhood memory for our outdoor shoot - the old playground at the Dover Rd HDB estate. As kids, we spent hours around the Pelican sculpture/ hideout - yes, there was hardly much else to do for fun back then. So, it was one of our most memorable photoshoots, especially since the entire estate was about to be torn down. It is probably no longer there today :(
So, it became the central feature of our frontpage banner for that month!

Oh, to be as carefree as a soap bubble...

Today, when we popped into Manicurious for a look-see when, lo-and-behold, we found The Pelican immortalised - as a very very cute little pin!

This pin is part of the Playground series which transforms our iconic playground sculptures of the '90s into cutesy little metal pins that will be around long after the original playgrounds are demolished (like the one in Dover Rd).
Ooh the Nostalgia.
*Disclaimer - we paid for our own pin, but still we wanna say Thank You to The Little Drom Store and Manicurious for helping to preserve a little part of our childhood!
inspiring change from outside in,
